A few thoughts that I read this morning ….
Often God seems to place His children in positions of profound difficulty, leading them into a wedge from which there is no escape; contriving a situation which no human judgement would have permitted, had it been previously consulted. It is a platform for the display of His almighty grace and power. You will never be able to thank God enough for having done just as He has. Perhaps God isn’t finished with my foot situation yet and there is still a greater purpose.
I am ready for the Chicago trip and have faithfully prayed that we’ll learn whatever we can from this physician. Who knows if this will be a one trip deal or the start of a new relationship . . . . . we need to go with an open mind and heart and be content with however it plays out. Praying that God will go before the situation and will lead all the way. Will update more later on Friday ….
Love,
Jenny

Praying for safe travel today & the right heart...sounds like you've been praying 4 the same thing, huh? LOVED your new page decor, my dear! VERY kicky & trendy! Drive safe! L Jo
It's 10:50am - ish on Friday & you are probably knee-deep in your appointment w/ Dr K in Chicago (pardon the pun). He has just NOW probably emerged from behind the stacks of paper representing your mile-long record faxed prior to your appt. He's probably worked up a sweat just trying to page through your history. Just wanted to let you know I'm praying N-O-W for you and for him. Trying to keep the kids quiet (ha!). Mike's not feeling well w/ sore throat, etc & Elijah has a fever and the (ahem) "trots." Fun. I think I'd rather be in Chicago...shopping w/ you... L Jo
OK...checkin' in...The Chicago Doc just MIGHT be through with your exam...(kidding...you've probably been done for hours). Jus' waiting for news and thinking about you. L Jo
