We're off to Dallas .... mom is going with me, although we are not staying at the same place. She has a "girls weekend" with three friends from High School and they meet each August. It just happened that they are having it in Dallas this weekend and they are going to the Women of Faith conference on Friday & Saturday.
Pray for clear direction, peace with whatever I learn tomorrow and that perhaps this plastic surgeon will have seen what I have happening w/some previous patient. My Dallas dr. says he is great & that I will like him, and am safe to go w/whomever I am most comfortable. I got the CD from the hospital (from appt. last Friday) w/my current x-rays, so we won't have to do those again.
It has been a very busy week at JA this week, so I am looking forward to a little break. I have a 12:30am appt. tomorrow .... he is meeting me between two five hour surgery cases.

I'm sad that you will be non-computer-o for this Thurs-Sun break in Tay-haaaas (Texas) b/c I REALLY want to know how it went w/ the appt. I WILL be praying, girl, don't'cha worry 'bout 'dat! Take it easy on the tootsies down there and don't do too much walkin' around while you shop b/c I KNOW you will shop! Hope it all goes well. Isaac has 2 days of kindergarten under his belt and I am surviving his being gone during the day...it is DEFINATELY quietER w/o him around...note I didn't say QUIET b/c Elijah is still around and ALSO talks nonstop rather LOUDly... Ah, well... Wonder where they got it? L Jo
It's 1:25 here, so hopefully you've at least begun your appt in Dallas. I pray that you have a good sense of the right way to go doctor-wise and city-wise with this whole thing. Thinking of you during your appt time. L Jo
OK...that's my THIRD entry for this post. Either I'm obscessed w/ you and your foot OR I'm praying for you w/ this trip. Probably a little bit of both!! :) B/C we love you and are praying.
