Foot & Toes still doing well .....

Greetings! I didn't end up going to the orthopod dr. appt. on Friday morning. My toe did not hurt the entire week and then as the week progressed I felt like I was starting to get a cold ..... and then there was a chance of snow predicted for Friday morning, which meant I would have needed to be on the phone at 8am with teachers working through a rescheduling process. I cancelled the appt. late afternoon on Thursday and will give it another week and see what happens. Still no pain, so maybe I am over whatever it was .... crazy.

All is still good with foot positioning. I walked 7.8 miles one day at work last week! I had the toe portion of my boots stretched (at a shoe shop), so now they are better with a little extra room. I am still getting used to wearing the "lift insert" in the left shoe - there is really no limp, when I use it.

As it turns out, what I thought was a cold is really an ear infection and bronchitis. I have avoided colds, flu, etc., the entire year, so I guess I've done fairly well until now. I got three prescriptions this afternoon, so I will be better in a few days .... will be home on Monday & maybe Tuesday, too. I speak and give directions to kids all day long, so I need a few days to sound/feel better.

Thanks for checking in .... off to drink more liquids!

Jenny, So glad to hear the foot and toes are still doing well. You know the shoes women wear always hurt our feet, they do not make enough toe room. You maybe should wear sandels if you can. I have some good news Teddy was accepted to CBC he is very excited. He still remains almost a straight A student grade point right at 4.0. Ted and I are very proud of him. He sometimes gets a B I believe in science. Probably will not be a doctor. He and his mom just need to work out the rest of details. Just think you were a part of his sucess! So glad to hear you are doing well in the foot area hopefully the ear and the bronchitis will be gone soon. Take care thinking and still praying for you. Love Carol and Teddy
