I apologize for the lack of updates this week .... I've had insomnia every night, so it has been a long week. I did go to the Cards game on Tuesday and made it okay with the meds. It was a great game, but hotter than ever. The heel pain does continue. It got a little better on Wed/Thur., but then was present all day Fri. & today. I have an appt. w/my STL orthopod on Wednesday late morning ...... I'm not sure what he is going to be able to do (if anything), but this much pain day after day is not right. I wonder if it is hurting in the back of the foot, because the little toe is still up in the air ..... but even when all the toes were up, I did not have the heel pain. It is frustrating to say the least.
The spots on my legs might be looks a bit better - at least that it was mom says! There are no new spots starting, so that is good.
I am so, so, so ready for a night of solid sleep. I think I am subconsciously thinking about all that is happening at the moment and I am having difficulty relaxing. We've had a lot going on at work, too. I went to GNC today and got two natural sleep aids, so I'm trying that tonight.
Keep praying for the heel pain to diminish, Staph to totally go away & sweet zzzzzz's.
Love & hugs,
jenny

Hope you get some good rest, too. Sometimes sleep aids are needed when the mind is a'workin' on something. And YOUR mind has a LOT on its plate to ponder. Glad the skin thing is looking better. Praying the orthopod has some good suggestions / solutions for you about your heel. Glad I checked in. Kid are outside driving the Corvette. It's yellow. One of those battery powered cars that kids ride. VERY sporty. I hope they don't run over a mailbox or something. Isaac came about "this" [--] close to hitting our minivan which was parked in the driveway. Mike laid down the riot act and said we'd get rid of the Corvette if they ran into ANYbody's car (ours, neighbors, whoEVER's) ... Isaac's eyes were about as big as the state of Texas. I think he actually believed him. He hasn't come "that" [--] close to anything else...YET. We may need to stock up on touch-up paint for the minivan. L Jo
Jenny, It is completely understandable that you are beyond frustrated. How much can one person take? It seems strange that it got a little better and then got worse again. Nothing ever normal with you! Hopefully you can get some answers wednesday from the ortho. We will keep praying for sleep and no more heel pain. Waiting for some good news next time. Love Teddy, Carol
Just an update...no collisions with the kids' Corvetts so far. The battery DID run down on Sunday evening, and you would have thought that the whole universe was coming to a screeching halt. They wilted. It might have had something to do w/ the heat and humidity, but I do think that the child wilting had more to do with the dead battery. Our neighbors' kids have a yellow Hum-V...which works, but only in reverse and low speed...sadly it doesn't work at high speed. So that was quite a triumph to outrun your neighbor's Hum-V...every time. So...it's "keeping up with the Joneses" already at ages 4 and 6. Hmmmmm. Not so sure I like that. Must ponder. L Jo
