My Wednesday ortho doctor appt. is still happening (late afternoon). I checked with his nurse and she said that he should be able to do the surgical procedure in his office. It involves injecting this chemical into the root of the nail and then the nail cannot grow any longer in that spot. I've never thought that the Novocaine works well on me, so I am dreading it. Maybe it won't be as bad as I'm anticipating. I probably could have it done in the operating room, but then that is more waiting and expense .... we'll chat on Wednesday, but it sounds like he will do it in the office, if I am willing. Pray & think happy thoughts at 3:30 on Wednesday!
Skin and positioning are still great .... that is really, good news. I'll update more after Wednesday ....

Glad I checked in so I can pray 4 U tomorrow. Ask him if he can use the numbing ice-type spray stuff in the bottle in ADDITION to the Novacaine. That might help! Seriously...you have GOT to have a sit-down-get-with-the-program TALK with your toe. It is SO holding up the progress of the rest of your limb's ailments ... which have DRASTICALLY improved.
