Send up prayers on Tuesday afternoon ....

The gait test is Tuesday afternoon at 3pm and it is time for the prayer brigade once again .... pray that it reveals something either way. We need to know if there is a nerve problem or if there is still something bony wrong. The next step will then be to decide what we are going to do next. I'm trying to decide if we need to fly to Dallas for more opinions or if we wouldn't hear much new (it is a hard call). The good thing about Dallas is that there are four recommended foot surgeons there, so I could see multiple doctors in one trip.
Emotionally I'm doing okay .... still have lots of thoughts about continuing to work with the Chicago dr., but trying to take it one day at a time.

I'm continuing to exercise pretty hard. I did 5 miles on Saturday and 5 miles on Sunday on various cardio machines at the gym. The past two nights have been the first nights in easily two years that I have slept without medication ... I'm hoping it continues.

This is my last week without kiddos at work, so we are busy finalizing changes and making final preparations. My first teacher training session is tomorrow night, so long day on Monday.

Hope you have a joyous week!

5 miles on any cardio machine OR on foot would help ANYone sleep, girl! Good 4 U! Pretty soon, if you keep it up, there won't be anything LEFT of you to actually FLY To Texas for a twenty-third, twenty-fourth, twenty-fifth, and twenty-sixth opinion (you DID say 4doctors in one trip, didn't you?)... Praying 4 U today & will pray tomorrow. L Jo

OK...I WAS praying at 3pm...were YOU? Just kidding...you were having a nerve test, and it's highly unlikely that you've had time to get a new post on this blog... Just logged on to let you know you were on the brain as you were conducting (or not conducting) nerve impulses in your test. Hope it is informative and conclusive on SOME front...to give direction as to what the next step is. I hear Jr. Jr. stirring after his naptime. Jr. Sr. is on his computer w/ headphones b/c he turns it up too loud and wakes Jr. Jr. Not so, this time, thanks to the headphones... He's playing Reader Rabbit Kindergarten something-or-other... He says: "Hi, Miss Jenny...um...it's Isaac and it's really good to see you. I'm working on my computer and I'm too busy, so thank you! Goodbye!" And THERE you have it! The non multi-tasking ability of a 5 year old! That's OK...it's a learned thing, I think...and more of a GIRL thing, also...so perhaps he'll never perfect it! Here's to hoping! Hugs 2 U Clock reads 4:36...nerves pooped out yet? L Jo
