All is still great with the foot .... yippee! My hip pre-op appt. at Barnes on Olive is this Thursday morning at 8am. I talked to the PA at the hip surgeon's office today and he thought about 2-3 weeks with no driving (probably 2). There is wifi in the hospital rooms, so that is good news. Hopefully I can beg for a private room ..... you would think that all rooms would be private these days, but they are not.
Still eating my banana, taking the iron pills, and drinking a glass of OJ a day.

Jen: Hip surgery on the horizon ... it's just around the corner ... rather than something WAY in the future like it has seemed, huh? Your foot has monopolized the situation so much, your hip probably felt left out. I DO hope you get a private room so you can recup and nap in peace instead of to the droning noise of someone else's choice of sitcom or game show or soap operat on the TV.
