I am doing well since the toenail procedure last week. I cannot believe how much better it feels and should have had it removed 5-6 months ago! You’d think I’d know my now to go to the dr., if it was continually hurting. It is still healing somewhat, but it will be totally healed by the end of the weekend.
On Tuesday, I had students all day and then went to a holiday concert in the evening at Powell Hall. I wore a dress boots and was able to walk to the car, at the end of the evening, without any pain …. Yippee!!
Tomorrow is our big “JA Jingle Day” at work …. it is a holiday “kid day” – parents paid up to have one more free day to shop, bake, wrap, etc. I think we’ve had as much fun planning it as the kids will have. This morning I baked 195 sugar cookies for kids to decorate tomorrow – what we do for kids!
Next week I’m off work the entire week and am so looking forward to relaxing at home. We are going to central IL on Sunday morning to celebrate Christmas with the Eickhorst crew.
